CDA4Pride has an interesting history: In31 members of the Patriot Fronta white nationalist group, were arrested — pulled out of a U-Haul with riot gear and smoke bombs — on their way to the Pride event downtown. Pride IN Bellingham Thousands of people visited the Pride Parade and Festival last year, and hundreds took part in other events spread throughout the weekend and across Downtown Bellingham.

Seattle Pride is so large, it has two celebrations. The celebration will be a family-friendly event, with live performances, a DJ-hosted dance party, art installations, and community connection. Pride Across Washington aims to showcase pride events around Washington state throughout June (and beyond!) and celebrate being 2SLGBTQIA+ in every corner of our state. Since drawing national attention inthe community has rallied around CDA4Pride, and last year, there were over 2, attendees celebrating at the annual CDA4Pride event.

More event information can be found here. The main pride parade takes place in July and travels through Downtown Bellingham, culminating in a pride celebration for locals and visitors alike. National corporations might be backing off of supporting Pridegay communities across the Pacific Northwest are staying strong and showing up to throw celebrations all over the region this June and beyond.

The first is Seattle Pride in the Park, a free, all-ages celebration in Capitol Hill park from noon to 7 pm. The theme is Vision for Tomorrow, and there will be live music, a vendor fair and food vendors. June 7, Chelan Pride [WA]. Tickets for the Pride cruise are limited, though, and selling quick. Chelan, Washington is hosting their fourth annual Pride Festival this year, in Riverwalk Park from noon to 4 pm.
